Provide process engineering support to complete recommendations from process hazard analysis Assist senior specialists in detailed technical evaluations such as catalyst, heat exchanger, and compressor performance Provide process engineering support to capital project development and design Complete level appropriate engineering studies, calculations,



or modeling and simulation of chemical processes Provide technical support to automated process monitoring applications Collect data and develop an electronic process information database Work under the direction of a licensed professional engineer who will take responsibility for the work products Complete basic technical reports, analysis, and transactions by applying subject matter knowledge related to a Chemical or Process engineering typical of a professional engineer Some field time in an operating unit, and at times will require some climbing of stairs, ladders and walking through plant operating areas Engineering co-op student pursuing a degree in chemical engineering, preference is for work terms 4 and 5 Knowledge in P&ID; use and interpretation, piping flow and hydraulic calculations, pressure relief valve codes and standards, control valve design and simple instrumentation and control loop basics is an asset Experience working with API Pressure Relief standards is an asset Knowledge of pipe sizing and experience with piping design is an asset We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, and other legally protected characteristics.
