Hello Photo Booth is a Campbell River based event experience company producing interactive photo experiences for corporate events, brand activations, community events, parties, weddings and celebrations throughout Vancouver Island.

We're looking for friendly, personable and reliable Event Hosts to set up and run our photo experiences at events.

This is not a photography or technical position. You don't need photography, technical or event experience. We'll train you on everything you need to know.

If you've worked as a server, bartender, host, in retail, hospitality or another customer-facing job, you may already have many of the skills we're looking for.

What You'll Do For most events, you'll:

- Pick up and load event equipment in Campbell River
- Drive to the event using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
- Or use a company vehicle when available
- Set up the equipment
- Run the experience and help guests
- Keep everything looking clean and professional
- Handle simple issues using the training we provide
- Pack everything down after the event
- Return the equipment to Campbell River

You're paid for the entire job, including travel time.

Who We're Looking For

You should be

- Friendly and personable. You should be comfortable around people and enjoy helping guests have fun.
- Reliable. Events are booked months in advance. When you commit to an event, we're counting on you.
- Good with details. Our setups need to look clean,



organized and professional.
- Good at figuring things out. You need common sense and the ability to solve small problems.
- Comfortable with basic technology. If you can use an iPad, connect to Wi-Fi, plug in a printer and follow simple instructions, you're good.
- Available for Saturday events. Most events happen Saturday afternoons and evenings, with some weekday events.

You must have a valid driver's licence and a safe, reliable vehicle. A regular car is perfectly fine. You do not need a truck, van or SUV.

A company vehicle is also available for many events.

If you use your own vehicle for an event, mileage is reimbursed in addition to your hourly pay.

The job also involves loading, unloading and carrying event equipment weighing up to approximately 50 lbs (23 kg).

Where & When You'll Work

Most events are between Campbell River and Nanaimo.

Most shifts are approximately 4–8 hours including travel, although some larger events may be longer.

This is casual, event-based work, not a regular weekly schedule. Hours vary and are not guaranteed each week.

Right now we are looking for people for December (mostly Friday evenings and Saturday afternoon and evenings,



with approximately 1–6 events per month depending on your availability.

Events are typically scheduled 1–3 months in advance.

Pay

$25/hour during paid training.

Once trained, $30–$35/hour, depending on experience, responsibilities and the type of event.

There is opportunity for higher pay as you become fully trained and able to independently handle more complex events.

Travel time is paid. Mileage is reimbursed when using your own vehicle. Parking and approved event travel expenses are also covered.

What to Wear

We provide branded shirts and outerwear. You'll generally wear clean black pants or shorts with clean, comfortable footwear.

You'll be representing our company at qualified events, so presentation matters.
