Hope Lutheran Church and School is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, and service-minded Facility Manager to oversee the care, maintenance, and safe operation of our shared church and school properties.

The Facility

Manager plays a vital role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, congregation, and visitors. Working collaboratively with both school leadership and church ministry teams, the successful candidate will manage daily building operations, coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs, oversee safety protocols, and steward our physical resources to support our mission of Christian education and ministry. Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a dependable, handy individual to join our team, focusing on keeping our campus beautiful, safe, and well-maintained.





This role is responsible for interior and exterior maintenance, including scheduling annual maintenance and upkeep.

Up to 20 hours per week with flexible hours. Fixed term for one year.

Qualifications:

- Completion of Grade 12.
- Previous experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
- Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing (preferred, but not required).
- WorkSafe Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification and Health and Safety Training (WorkSafeBC).
