Position Overview: Full Time, Permanent

Hours of Work: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm

Location: On-site, 343 Saunders Rd, Barrie, Ontario

Reporting To: Manager, Finishing & Cutting

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Folding & Finishing Assistant. This entry-level role is responsible for folding and finishing textile or fabric-based products we produce. The ideal candidate will ensure products are accurately prepared for shipment or storage, and will have the chance to be trained in industrial sewing techniques with the potential to grow into a Industrial Sewer role.

Job Duties (include and are not limited to):

Folding & Finishing:

- Fold finished fabric items according to guidelines for packaging or storage.
- Perform basic finishing tasks such as trimming threads, organizing products, and preparing them for shipment.
- Assist with packing and labeling items to meet production and quality standards.

Material Handling:

- Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production area.




- Assist with basic preparation of materials, such as measuring and organizing components for sewing or cutting.
- Follow instructions to ensure correct handling and placement of items.

Team Support:

- Work as part of a team in a positive and productive environment.
- Follow direction from supervisors and leads to meet daily production targets.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.

Opportunity for Growth:

- On-the-job training provided for candidates interested in learning industrial sewing.
- Potential to grow into a role operating sewing machines and assisting with fabric assembly in the future.

Qualifications & Requirements

- No previous experience required; training will be provided.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Must be able to stand for periods of time and lift materials as needed.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required for production.
