Position Title: Housekeeping Staff

Location: YMCA Tumbler Ridge Care and Learning Centre

Term: Permanent, Part-Time

Hours: 10-15 hours per week

Shift: Monday to Friday outside operational hours (7:30am - 5:30pm)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $19.50 per hour

Reports To: Manager

Join Our Team! We’re seeking a compassionate individual to support our inclusive before and after school program. In this part-time role, you’ll work to create a welcoming environment where all children—regardless of their needs—can thrive.

Major Responsibilities- in this position, you will:

- Performing cleaning duties of the YMCA Care and Learning Centre as specified in the work schedule. Paying particular attention to detail and sanitization needs.
- Meeting the highest standards of building cleanliness in our Tumbler Ridge location helping to ensure our members have an enjoyable experience in a clean facility.
- Completing cleaning tasks to ensure the facility is ready for children according to licensing and YMCA standards.
- Ability to speak, write, listen and secure information in a variety of settings. Ability to cooperate with others to achieve results. Ability to create and build relationships inside and outside the organization.

Qualification-you bring:
- Solid communication skills,



both spoken and written
- Able to work without direct supervision
- Physically able to do assigned tasks and ability to multitask
- WHIMS is an asset
- Successful candidate will be required to provide 3 satisfactory references
- Successful candidates will be required to provide or obtain, prior to starting, a current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search.
