About the Position

We are looking for a motivated IT Support Technician to join our team and provide day-to-day technical support to employees and assist with our company's computer systems, software, and technology infrastructure.

This position is well suited for someone with a practical IT background who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues, helping users, and working with computers and business technology.

Responsibilities

- Provide first-level technical support to employees and users
- Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, applications, and peripherals
- Assist with Microsoft 365, email, printers, and other business applications
- Set up and maintain user accounts and access permissions
- Diagnose and resolve basic network and connectivity problems
- Monitor and maintain IT equipment and systems
- Document technical issues, solutions, and support requests
- Assist with software updates, system maintenance, and backups
- Provide technical guidance and training to employees when required
- Escalate more complex technical issues when necessary
- Support the company with general IT and technology-related tasks

Requirements





- Completion of a college program in computer science, information technology, computer systems, or a related field; or equivalent technical training and experience
- Previous experience in IT support, technical support, help desk, computer technician, or a similar role is an asset
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and common business software
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple technical requests
- Comfortable learning new software and technologies
