Summary The Liberal Party is seeking an IT Support and Systems Analyst to work at the Party’s National office in Ottawa, joining a dedicated team of staff to support Mark Carney and our Liberal team’s work to keep building Canada Strong.

The IT Support and Systems Analyst is responsible for providing technical support to employees and volunteers across the country while helping ensure the reliability, security and efficiency of the Party’s IT infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing

- Provide first-level IT support to employees located across the country
- Facilitate with the onboarding/offboarding of employees and stakeholders, including account provisioning, hardware deployment and access management
- Deploy and maintain operating system and application updates to ensure systems remain secure and supported
- Monitor and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services
- Assist with cybersecurity operations, including vulnerability management, security awareness program and implementation of security best practices




- Create and maintain documentation about processes and systems
- Maintain an accurate inventory of LPC’s IT assets
- Ensure IT disaster recovery plans are maintained and achievable through regular testing and documentation
- Monitor industry directions and best practices, emerging technologies, to recommend continuous improvement to LPC’s IT infrastructure
- Other duties as required

What you’ll need to have

- Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing technical support in a fast-paced service delivery environment, with a proven ability to troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple requests effectively
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud environments (e.g., Azure and AWS)
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals, remote access technologies, VPNs, identity and access management, endpoint management, and data backup and recovery
- Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to execute basic queries and troubleshoot integrations that rely on SQL databases.
- Basic scripting or automation knowledge (e.g.,



PowerShell) is considered an asset
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including patch management, vulnerability management, and cloud security principles
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a technology field is an asset
- Technology Certifications such as AWS cloud Practitioner, Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+ are assets
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
