Valard Construction is seeking a Journeyperson Powerline Technician to join our Toronto team. Emphasizing safety, this role is critical in constructing and maintaining power distribution systems. Positioned under the Construction Foreman, you will play a hands-on role in powering communities by working on both overhead and underground electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a Journeyperson certification (434A or Red Seal) and have substantial experience in the utility sector. Joining the CUSW, you will also guide and mentor less experienced technicians. Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and construct electrical infrastructure safely
- Perform energized work and system switching tasks
- Teach safety practices and procedures to apprentices
- Lead job hazard assessments and safety planning
- Document compliance with safety regulations Requirements:
- Journeyperson Powerline Technician (434A or Red Seal) certification
- Experience with energized and underground installations
- Class 4 Rubber Glove certification
- Valid Driver's License with good standing
