What You’ll Do

You’ll act with integrity to

- Lead the architecture and technical direction of application solutions, ensuring they are secure, scalable, accessible, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of software developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain architecture standards, development frameworks, and governance practices that promote consistency, quality, and long-term sustainability.
- Oversee the technical planning and execution of complex projects, including assessment, solution design, estimation, identifying risks, and resource planning.
- Research emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovative approaches to continuously improve how technology supports the work of the Assembly.




- You’ll support our collaboration as you:Align with project managers in the Portfolio Management Office to evaluate, plan and execute projects.
- Build strong partnerships with internal clients, acting as a trusted advisor on application technology strategy, architecture, and solution delivery.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Engage with Technology Services and external vendors to implement, support, maintain, and evolve mission-critical systems.
- Facilitate architecture reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen delivery practices and technical excellence.
- Participate in iDivision architecture planning and review alongside other architects.

How You Qualify You demonstrate excellence through your:

- University degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of related work experience and education.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in systems development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior architecture role.
- Advanced knowledge of solution architecture, system design, and system integration.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with current development tools and technologies including Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Azure, PHP, React, Python, and web content management systems.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI and modern cloud-based and containerized solutions.
- Solid experience with project management, and Agile/Scrum.
