22.83 per hour + 14% in lieu of advantages = $26.02 per hour! Schedule varies Monday to Friday from approximately 2:00PM to 5:45PM throughout the school year (September to June). Shifts may include occasional full days on Pro-D Days, Winter Break Camp, and Spring Break Camp. Opportunities to pick up shifts for sick or other last-minute coverage may also become available.

Our leaders put together daily and weekly recreational activities, focusing on providing children 5 to 12 years of age with the opportunity to cultivate friendships, experience a wide variety of sports, games, arts, crafts, special events and develop lifetime skills. In addition to great wages,



employees receive access to counselling, and a staff facility pass which provides drop-in use of the weightroom, fitness classes, skating, the pool and our 9‐hole golf course. Imaginative and flexible personality required to ensure a fun environment for participants.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Must enjoy working in an indoor and outdoor environment. As a licensed care program, candidates must be a minimum of 19 years of age. ~ Minimum 180 hours previous experience leading school age children (aged 5-12 years). ~20 hours of proof of workshops/training courses is required. ~ Post‐secondary training in recreation, youth, childcare, or a related field is an asset. ~ CLASS 4* unrestricted drivers' license is an asset and candidates with a CLASS 4* will be given preference.

Criminal Record

Check A clear and current criminal record check is a condition of employment (employer initiated) and is the financial responsibility of the successful candidate. All employees are offered a complimentary pass to our facility for drop in use of the weightroom, pool, skating rink and some drop-in fitness classes. Limited use of the golf course is also included with the facility pass.
