The work location is at Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

Future challenges Reporting to the Civil Works Supervisor, the Class 2 Heavy Equipment Operator will be primarily responsible for operating D8 dozers, 349 and 390 excavators, as well as 990 wheel loaders. The operator will also occasionally operate haul trucks used at the mine.

- He carries out his tasks while adhering to current safety standards (road safety and health and safety).
- He is responsible for inspecting his equipment before and after his shift.
- If necessary,



he performs any other tasks requested by his supervisor.

Profile required

- Have a minimum of 6000 hours experience operating heavy equipment.
- Have experience operating the following equipment: 990 loader, D8 dozer, 349 and 390 excavators, and 75-ton mining haul truck.
- Possession of a general explosives permit is mandatory.
- Has successfully completed a heavy equipment course or has experience deemed equivalent.
- Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is an asset that facilitates and enhances our internal communications.
