Our Mobile Outreach Department islooking for a dedicated Needle Mitigation Worker to join the team.

Position Responsibilities

- The Needle Mitigation Worker will perform proactive needle sweeps, respond to requests by businesses and residents regarding needle debris, and monitor disposal bins through the community.
- The Needle Mitigation Worker will perform other departmental duties as directed by the Mobile Outreach Manager or their designate.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Transparent Criminal Record Check
- Valid Alberta Drivers License – Class 5 (or equivalent) no more than 6 demerits.
- Satisfactory Drivers Abstract
- Ability to interpret/apply policies & procedures
- Excellent communication skills - orally and written




- Knowledge of computers and related applications is desirable

Hours

The standardworkweek consists of an average of 25 hours, with the specific schedule beingdetermined by theimmediate supervisor.

Compensation

Starting salary $24.28 per hour as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
