: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, and under the general direction of the program area manager, as applicable, the Occupational Therapist Degree is responsible for providing direct specialized care from a recovery service perspective that is inclusionary and flexible for individuals with moderate to severe and persistent mental illness, addiction and concurrent disorders. This position is with Primary Health Care - South Network.

Knowledge and Abilities

- Knowledge of how addictions impact the individual, community and families
- Ability to prioritize work

- Proficient in the operation of word processing, spreadsheet and power point
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Provide public education regarding mental health and addiction concerns
- Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based research and clinical practice
- Sound knowledge of mental health and addictions theory.
- Working knowledge of Suicide Intervention skills
- Demonstrated working knowledge in the area of recovery model




- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to provide individual, group and crisis management counselling skills

- Registered/eligible with Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy (CAOT)
- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
