Description A Party Host is the first point of contact for families celebrating birthdays and special events at Westside. This hands-on position greets, directs, and assists party guests and handles the set-up, take-down, and cleaning of all party rooms. Hosts guide families through the full party experience, check-in, waiver verification, transitions to and from activities, and room resets, while ensuring guests follow Westside's policies and procedures during their time with us.

Responsibilities

- Greet, direct, and assist party members throughout the duration of parties and events

- Check guests in at the Check-In table, verify waivers, and distribute wristbands

- Direct participants to activity locations and lead groups through transitions to and from activities

- Perform participant head counts at check-in and before and after each transition

- Deliver activity speeches to guests prior to activities

- Assist individual parties as needed (help decorate, carry items, etc.)

- Set up and take down party rooms,



check-in tables, and event spaces

- Clean and reset tables, chairs, and party rooms between bookings and at end of day

- Ensure the safety of facility patrons and party attendees

- Be aware of emergency procedures and risk management practices

- Mentor and support volunteers assisting with parties

Administrative

- Attend staff meetings and additional training as scheduled

- Ensure all contracts and waivers have been signed prior to party start

- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly task reports during shifts

- Additional administrative duties as required

Risk Management

- Complete Incident Report Forms as required

- Maintain activity areas and equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety

- Verify chaperone-to-child ratios prior to activities

- Perform first aid as required

- Follow all emergency procedures
