Experienced Pharmacy Assistant

Health-Wise Pharmacy is looking for an experienced, friendly, and dependable Pharmacy Assistant to join our community pharmacy team.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a busy pharmacy environment, provides excellent customer service, and can confidently support pharmacists with day-to-day dispensary operations.

Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting pharmacists and the pharmacy manager with daily pharmacy operations
- Processing prescriptions using Kroll
- Assisting with prescription preparation and filling
- Preparing and managing blister packs
- Providing excellent customer service in person and over the phone
- Handling front-counter and cashier duties
- Responding to patient inquiries and directing clinical questions to the pharmacist
- Ordering and receiving medications and pharmacy supplies
- Managing and organizing pharmacy inventory
- Maintaining an organized, efficient, and professional work environment
- Performing other pharmacy-related duties as required

Qualifications The successful candidate should have:
- Minimum 2 years of Canadian community pharmacy experience
- Experience using Kroll is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of community pharmacy workflow
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with patients
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly and professional interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills




- High attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to and from the pharmacy

Position Details

Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience
