Sarens Canada is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer. This is a full time permanent position reporting to the Branch Manager or Project Manager.

As a Project Engineer You Will Be Tasked With Ensuring That The Maintenance Department At Sarens Canada Is Provided With Exceptional Service. Specifically, You Will Be Tasked With

Design and develop engineering drawings, such as lifting plans, rigging plans and transport arrangements

Produce equipment calculations and operational procedures

Stamp Drawings according to requirements and design

Supervise On-site operations if required

Responsible for executing engineering on site The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Technical Capabilities

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or civil engineering or equivalent experience

Qualified Engineer, Licensed in Ontario, or any other Engineering Order in Canada

1 - 5 years' of experience as a project engineer or project manager in the heavy lifting industry, crane or transportation.

Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite

Experienced with industry standards, regulations, and best practices

3D software knowledge
