We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team. This is a full time employment on a large cattle ranch in AB. A person with mechanical aptitude would be preferred. Market-competitive salary, housing, utilities, health benefit package. References required.
Responsibilities
- Livestock record-keeping, sorting, shipping, and processing
- Moving cattle within the range
- Winter feeding activities
- Construction, maintenance, and repair of all types of fencing to acceptable standards
- Safely and effectively use chainsaws and other tools for clearing and maintenance work
- General yard maintenance as needed and instructed
- Assist with fieldwork, farming and other ranch chores
- General ranch duties
