Registered Dental Technologist (RDT) - Digital Dentistry

We are seeking a recently graduated Registered Dental Technologist (RDT) to join our growing team and play an important role in launching an innovative new dental laboratory in Canada.

This is a unique opportunity for an RDT who is passionate about digital dentistry, orthodontics, CAD/CAM, and emerging technologies. You will be involved in establishing and operating a modern digital laboratory, working closely with clinicians and patient cases while helping develop efficient laboratory workflows and quality standards.

The role will initially have a strong focus on digital orthodontics and clear aligner treatment, with opportunities to work across other digital dental applications as the laboratory grows.

Key Responsibilities

Manage digital dental cases and files using CAD/CAM and digital orthodontic software.

Support digital treatment planning and explicit aligner case development in collaboration with clinicians.

Prepare digital models and files for manufacturing.

Operate digital manufacturing and 3D-printing workflows, including post-processing and quality control.

Fabricate and finish clear aligners and other dental and orthodontic appliances.

Communicate with orthodontists, dentists, and dental teams regarding cases and technical requirements.

Help establish laboratory workflows, procedures, and quality standards.

Assist with the implementation of digital technologies within dental practices as required.

Stay current with developments in digital dentistry and emerging technologies.

Qualifications





Successfully completed a Dental Technology program approved by the Canadian Alliance of Dental Technology Regulators (CADTR), or successfully completed the Dental Technology Education Equivalence (DTEE).

Registered Dental Technologist (RDT) with the College of Dental Technologists of Ontario (CDTO) - required.

Strong interest in digital dentistry, orthodontics, and emerging technology.

Experience with CAD/CAM, digital orthodontics, or 3D printing is an asset.

Experience with software such as 3Shape, Maestro, or ArchForm is an asset.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Comfortable learning new technologies and working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Self-motivated, curious, and able to work both independently and as part of a growing team.
