Millgrove Veterinary Services is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our busy, privately owned, two veterinarian practice in a country like setting here in Carlisle, Ontario.
We offer a supportive, close knit environment where conventional veterinary medicine is combined with holistic care in our integrative practice.
We offer 35-40 hours per week Monday - Friday (no weekends).
Pay is determined based on experience.
Responsibilities The ideal candidate is an experienced RVT who is confident in providing kind and compassionate client and patient care, who is proficent in venipuncture, surgical monitoring and anesthesia, and all aspects of clinical nursing. An interest in expanding the candidate's knowledge in integrative veterinary medicine is a bonus. Knowledge using EzyVet software is helpful, but not required.
Requirements
- OAVT Certified and Registered Veterinary Technician Diploma required
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
