Role Description The Sales Trainer is a contract, on-site role based in Saskatoon, SK, responsible for developing and delivering sales training programs to plumbing service technicians and office staff. Day-to-day tasks include assessing current sales practices, designing training materials and sessions, and conducting workshops that focus on customer service, upselling, and value-based selling aligned with Mr. Rooter’s code of values.

The Sales

Trainer will observe sales interactions, provide coaching and feedback, and track performance improvements to ensure consistent,



high-quality customer experiences. This role also collaborates closely with management to refine training content, support onboarding of new team members, and reinforce best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

- Strong presentation skills and the ability to facilitate engaging in-person training sessions.
- Experience designing and delivering sales trainings focused on service-based or home services industries.
- Background in training & development, including curriculum design, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport.
- Understanding of consultative and value-based selling techniques; prior sales or sales leadership experience is an asset.
- Ability to work on-site in Saskatoon, SK, with flexibility for varying schedules to support 24/7 operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning, documenting, and reporting training activities.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Education, Communications, or a related field is an asset.
- Familiarity with plumbing or home services industries is beneficial but not required.
