Common Wealth Retirement

Toronto

Location

This role is open to candidates based anywhere in Canada. While we are considering applicants from across the country, we have a strong preference for candidates located within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to support periodic in-office collaboration.

About Common Wealth

Common Wealth exists to make retirement security accessible to all Canadians. As Canada’s fastest-growing group retirement provider, we serve over 1,800 employers across the country and are helping tens of thousands of Canadians build long-term financial security. Our award-winning retirement platform makes it easy for employers of all sizes to offer competitive retirement benefits, empowers members to build wealth with confidence, and equips advisors with tools to better serve their clients.

We work closely with a rapidly expanding network of advisors, for whom we strive to be a true partner in powering the growth of their business.

About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity to reinvent the way Canadians access financial advice.

Unlike a traditional financial planning or advisor role, this position is not focused on selling products. Instead, you’ll be part of a team working to change how Canadians plan and make confident financial decisions, bringing high-quality advice and education to people for whom this traditionally hasn’t been accessible. You’ll connect with Common Wealth members and build a trust-based financial planning relationship, helping them build financial security through empathetic planning, actionable insights, and ongoing personal partnership.

About the Role

You will play a key role in scaling Common Wealth’s financial planning function, which sits at the heart of our member experience. As an early hire on a fast-growing team, this is a hands-on role that blends direct member engagement with entrepreneurialism focused on scalable advice, blending human and digital planning to deliver value. You’ll work with more junior Financial Planners to help build the team’s capacity and scale a thriving practice.

You will engage directly with plan members to deliver personalized financial plans using Conquest,

while also contributing to webinars, articles, and other educational resources that help members build confidence and clarity on their financial journey.
