This job offers the prospect to work from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement. This arrangement will allow you to work some days at a TCHC work location and the rest of the time from home. The amount of time required to work at a TCHC work location is flexible, while considering operational and service delivery requirements.

Make a difference

This position is responsible for providing developing and consolidating the annual TCHC Budget for board approval. In addition, this position prepares quarterly performance reports for the CAAC, property specific financial analysis including projections and modeling for each property in support of strategic planning,



portfolio financing and risk mitigation. This position will also provide enhanced financial analysis, controls, and decision support required for the Yardi implementation and other related special projects.

As the project progresses through design, configuration, data conversion, testing, cutover, and stabilization.

What you’ll do

- Prepares and consolidates annual budget with detailed analysis and explanations on variances and prepares quarterly performance reports.
- Conduct analysis to assist with the development of benchmarks and standards.
- Support special projects such as TCHC’s HoMES/Yardi data and reporting objectives. Provide feedback on business metrics, performance measures and indicators to ensure the company has the necessary insight to monitor progress and improve business and system processes.
- Assist in the development, standardization and maintenance of data definitions across the organization for projects. Support ad hoc requests as needed
- Assists with consolidation of all property specific financial analysis for portfolio wide financial planning including capital plan, refinancing opportunities and other strategic initiatives
- Prepares financial analysis overviews, presentations, and descriptive materials for property transactions, portfolio and property profiles, including physical, financial, operational and community neighbourhood information.
- Perform research and analysis on a regular and ad-hoc basis to support HoMES project decision-making.
- Assist with financial requirements, process design, and report specifications for Yardi
- Assists in maintaining forecasting for the annual operating and capital financial plan, and assist in developing/monitoring the 5- to 10-year financial projections for the corporation including development initiatives

What you’ll need

- University Degree in Economics, Finance or Real Estate
- Accounting Designation (CA, CMA, CGA)
- Minimum 5 years accounting experience including some experience with financial and/or enterprise business systems
