We're looking for individuals to join our maintenance team at the Saint John Laundry facility on King William Road¿an essential operation that supports healthcare across New Brunswick. Working alongside skilled trades professionals and reporting to the Assistant Maintenance Manager, these roles contribute directly to keeping a busy plant running safely and reliably.

The work involves hands?on installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair of mechanical components that keep our building systems, equipment, and furnishings performing at their best. The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:

- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building systems, industrial machinery, equipment and related components.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical,



electrical and equipment-related issues to minimize operational disruptions.
- Maintain and repair a variety of systems and equipment, including pumps, conveyors, motors, presses, ventilation systems and other facility infrastructure.
- Complete preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency and the safe condition of facilities.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and appliance installation/removal as required.
- Respond to and prioritize maintenance requests and work orders, assessing issues and determining appropriate corrective actions.
- Assist with equipment modifications, fabrication, welding and repair projects as required.
- Coordinate and monitor contractor services to ensure work is completed safely, effectively and in compliance with applicable standards and codes.
- Maintain inventory of tools, parts, materials and supplies, and identify replenishment requirements.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff and other stakeholders to support operational needs and maintenance projects.
- Provide guidance and on-the-job assistance to team members, including participation in orientation and training activities as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment and comply with all applicable safety practices, policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Industrial Mechanic

- Possession of a journeyperson`s certificate in the industrial mechanic occupation as issued under the Apprenticeship and Occupation Act of the Province of New Brunswick.
- 5 years of work experience as an Industrial Mechanic
- Knowledge of safe operating procedures
- Operate Tablet based work order and preventative maintenance system
- Experience with routine maintenance operations.

Electrician





- Completion of high school or GED
- Possession of a journeyperson`s certificate in the electrical occupation as issued under the Apprenticeship and Occupation Certification Act of the Province of New Brunswick

Maintenance Repairworker 1

- Completion of high school or GED;

- Experience at the semi-skilled level in the use of tools and equipment used in industrial mechanical settings;

- Written and spoken competence in English is required.

These positions require written and spoken competence in English.

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate the following asset qualifications:

- PLC knowledge.
- Knowledge of safe operating procedures
- Experience with routine maintenance operations
- Knowledge of pneumatic & hydraulics.
- Aluminum welding experience.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- You must be available to work rotating days, evenings, nights, weekend, and Statutory Holidays.
- Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.
