The Bed Truck Swamper is responsible for supporting bed truck operations by ensuring safety compliance and assisting with manual and rigging tasks. This role involves guiding the bed truck driver during transport activities and requires frequent travel between job sites to facilitate smooth and safe equipment movements on day to day rig moves and skids.
Responsibilities
- Maintain strict safety compliance during all operations
- Perform swamping tasks to assist bed truck activities
- Guide the bed truck driver during loading and unloading
- Conduct ground level manual labour as required
- Handle rigging and chaining of loads securely
- Spot and signal to ensure safe vehicle movements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in swamping on a bed truck
- Class 5 driver's license is an asset
- Physical stamina to handle labour-intensive tasks
- Solid communication skills
- Commitment to safety compliance
- Safety Tickets are Required: H2S, CSO
