ARIS is an introductory seminar providing a brief overview of the demands and responsibilities for anyone considering a career in the trades. Topics include trade descriptions, apprenticeship options, employment requirements, job site expectations and the advantages of belonging to a skilled trade Union.

Locations: 15330-114 Avenue, Edmonton, AB or 11055-48 Street SE, Calgary, AB

Times: spots available at 10:00 am at both locations and 5:00 pm in Calgary

Please bring your government issued Photo ID, Social Insurance Card (SIN) and references.

To be eligible for employment you must be able to:

- Work in a physically demanding environment
- Follow direction
- Work under pressure
- Communicate well, both verbally and written, in the English language




- Work collaboratively in a team environment
- Travel around Alberta, including Fort McMurray

Candidates must be:

- 18 years or older
- A Canadian citizen or Permanent resident

After registering, you will receive a link to a free study guide to help prepare you for the Essential Skills Assessment (ESA), which will be scheduled after the seminar.

Pay: $35.31-$58.85 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
