Our Richmond

Center location will be Canada's second DJI Authorized Experience Store — a flagship destination where customers can see, hold, and experience DJI's industry-leading drones, camera stabilization, and imaging technology in person, guided by a team that knows the products inside and out. DJI's products speak for themselves: they set the standard in their categories and lead the market worldwide. Our job is to match that same level of excellence in every customer interaction. Role Summary The Store Manager is responsible to take ownership for the day-to-day leadership of the retail location, driving sales performance, ensuring an outstanding customer experience, managing store operations, and developing the in-store team in line with DJI brand & service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead daily store operations from opening to closing, transactions handling, and inventory control
- Set and drive store sales targets; monitor KPIs (conversion rate, average transaction value, units per transaction)
- Recruit, train, schedule, and coach Sales Associates
- Conduct regular performance check-ins and support career development of store staff
- Ensure full compliance with company policy and applicable provincial Employment Standards legislation
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and product demo stations to DJI brand guidelines
- Manage stock levels, loss prevention, and coordinate with regional supply chain/logistics
- Handle escalated customer service issues, warranty/repair intake, and after-sales support




- Report store performance to the District/Regional Manager on a weekly/monthly basis
- Support recent store openings and rollout of company-wide promotions or product launches
- Duties may adjust and are not limited to the responsibilities listed and may evolve to meet in-store requirements over time.

Requirements

- 2+ years of retail management experience (electronics, tech, or premium consumer goods preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution skills
- Comfortable with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic reporting/Excel
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must be of minimum working age per provincial employment standards
- Availability to work a retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs, and to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the store for extended periods during a shift (e.g. unpacking stock, restocking shelves, moving demo units.)
- Must pass a background check as permitted under provincial law

Nice to Have

- Experience with consumer drones, cameras, or gimbal/stabilization products
- Post-secondary education in Business, Retail Management, or related field
- Bilingual (English/French/Mandarin), especially for Quebec locations
- Existing DJI product knowledge or certification

Salary based $64,000-$70,000 annual + KPI Bonus (monthly review)

Retail hours – includes evenings/weekends/holidays as required
