11 Sports & Social Club is looking for outgoing, connected students to help us introduce more young people in Orillia to pickleball, sports and the social side of our club.

This isn't a traditional part time job where you have to give up evenings or weekends to clock into a shift.

We're looking for students who are already connected to other students — through school, sports, clubs, social media, friend groups or the broader Orillia community — and want a flexible way to make extra money with a very small time commitment.

SO... WHAT DOES THIS JOB ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE?

Your job is pretty simple: help us reach students we're not currently reaching.

You'll receive your own unique promotional/referral code so we can track the students you introduce to 11 Sports & Social Club.

We're not expecting you to become a salesperson. We want you to use the connections you already have and get creative with it.

That could mean

- Bring your friends to play. Get a group together and introduce them to the club.
- Share your personal promo code. If someone uses your code to come play, great. If they love it and eventually purchase a student pass or membership, even better — you'll have the opportunity to earn more.
- Post quick content. A TikTok, Reel, Story, funny rally, challenge, night out with friends or a quick 15-second video . It doesn't need to be professionally produced — authentic is better.
- Use the group chats you're already in. Your hockey team, class group, residence chat, student council, chess club, gym friends, coworkers — wherever you already connect with other students.
- Organize a friend night. Get 6, 8, 10 or more people together and make a night out of it.
- Bring someone who's never played before. Sometimes the easiest way to get someone interested is simply saying, “Come with me.”
- Create a school or group challenge. One school vs. another. Hockey vs. soccer. One residence vs. another. Have an idea? Run it by us.
- Connect us with a bigger group. Maybe you know a team captain, coach, teacher, student council member, club president or someone else who could get a whole group involved. Make the introduction and we'll take it from there.
- Give us your ideas. If you think students would show up for a certain tournament, theme night, challenge, event, promotion or social idea, tell us. We want to hear it.
- Tell us what we're getting wrong.



If students aren't interested in something we're offering, tell us why. If there's something that would get them through the door, we want to know that too.

We're not looking for someone to spam people or stand around handing out flyers.

We want students who already understand their own communities and can help us become part of them.

WHO WOULD BE GREAT AT THIS?

You don't need marketing experience.

You might be a great fit if you're:

- Outgoing and comfortable talking to people
- Active on Instagram, TikTok or other social platforms
- Involved in a school sports team or athletic community
- Part of student council, a committee or school organization
- Involved in a club — and yes, even chess club counts
- Someone who seems to know everyone at school
- Creative and good at getting people interested in things
- Interested in sports, events, marketing, business or social media

Being involved in any community or group is a strength because that's exactly what we're looking for: real connections with other students.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're especially interested in having student ambassadors from each high school in Orillia and Lakehead University.

Ideally, we want students from different schools, teams, clubs and social circles so we're not relying on one person to reach everyone.

But don't let that stop you from applying.

If you're not at one of these schools but you're connected to another younger audience or community you think 11 Sports & Social Club should be reaching, tell us about it.

Maybe it's a sports league, gym community, workplace, college, youth organization or something we haven't thought of yet.

If you have access to an audience we should be reaching, we want to hear from you.

WHY IT'S A GREAT STUDENT JOB

This role is designed to fit around school — not compete with it.

Very small time commitment.

There aren't traditional weekly shifts where you have to clock in for four or eight hours.

Work around your schedule.





A lot of what we're asking you to do can happen naturally through things you're already doing — talking to friends, posting content and being part of your school or community.

Guaranteed base pay.

You'll receive guaranteed compensation for participating in the campaign and completing the agreed responsibilities.

Plus, the opportunity to earn considerably more.

Every ambassador receives their own code, which allows us to track the results you generate.

Someone sees your post? Great.

Someone actually uses your code and comes to play? Even better.

Someone you introduced loves the club and becomes a regular student player or purchases a student pass? That's where your results really start to matter.

The more successful you are at actually bringing new students into the club, the greater your opportunity to earn additional performance-based compensation.

We're not promising unrealistic money or pretending this replaces a full-time job.

It's simply a really flexible way for the right student to make extra money without adding another traditional shift-based job to their schedule.

THE BIGGER IDEA

Pickleball is changing quickly, and we want more young people involved at 11 Sports & Social Club.

Instead of sitting in an office trying to guess what students want, we'd rather work directly with students who actually understand their schools, teams, friend groups and communities.

We want you to help us figure out what works.

Bring some friends. Make a video. Share your code. Organize a group. Give us an idea we haven't thought of.

If it gets more young people playing, we're interested.
