About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Associate to support our purchasing, inventory, supplier coordination, and operational logistics activities at our headquarters in Woodbridge, ON.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with approximately 2 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, inventory, or logistics who is looking to develop their skills in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to follow up consistently with suppliers and service providers.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Supplier Coordination

- Prepare and process purchase orders for materials, components, and general business needs.
- Follow up with suppliers on order status, availability, lead times, and delivery dates.
- Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records.
- Coordinate purchasing of office supplies and other general company requirements.
- Identify purchasing delays or supplier issues and escalate them when necessary.
- Assist with supplier communication and pricing inquiries.

Inventory Analysis & Planning

- Monitor inventory levels and identify items that may need to be reordered.
- Review inventory, open purchase orders, and usage information to support purchasing decisions.
- Help identify potential shortages, excess, or slow-moving inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing information in company systems.




- Provide basic inventory reports and information to support management decisions.

Operational Logistics

- Prepare and issue shipping labels based on approved shipment instructions.
- Schedule courier and freight pickups.
- Coordinate routine shipments with couriers, carriers, and freight forwarders.
- Track shipments and follow up on delays or delivery issues.
- Maintain shipment records and tracking information.
- Coordinate routine inbound and outbound transportation requirements.
- Support returns and other routine logistics activities.

Qualifications

- Approximately 2 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, inventory, logistics, or a related field.
- Experience working with suppliers and purchase orders.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and purchasing processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good follow-up and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Proactive and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and know when to escalate issues.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written.
- Experience with international suppliers or logistics is an asset.
- Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment is an asset.
