About the Role

The Company is seeking an SVP for Enterprise Risk Management to join their Senior Risk Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be a key figure in providing enterprise-wide leadership across various risk domains, including business partnering, quantitative risk, insurance and financial risk, capital, model risk, and risk analytics.

This role is pivotal in overseeing the implementation of the Risk Management Framework, ensuring the organization operates within its Board-approved risk appetite, and providing independent oversight and challenge to the first line. The SVP will work closely with the Chief Risk Officer, Executive Committee,



and business leaders to deliver commercially focused risk insight and independent challenge on strategic and business decisions, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.

Applicants for the SVP position should have a Bachelor’s degree and a relevant professional designation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least 15 years of progressive risk leadership experience in the insurance or broader financial services industry.
Deep expertise in enterprise risk management, including risk governance, appetite, culture, ORSA, stress testing, capital management, and regulatory compliance, is essential. The role requires a solid understanding of insurance risks and experience in engaging with Boards, Board Risk Committees, and regulators.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing risk strategies that support business objectives, customer outcomes, and sustainable growth, as well as exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
