Are you a hands-on warehouse professional with leadership experience and a passion for operational excellence? Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to support our Mississauga, Canada Contract Logistics operations. In this role, you will combine frontline warehouse responsibilities with team leadership duties, helping drive productivity, quality, safety, and employee engagement in a fast-paced distribution environment.

How you create impact

As a Warehouse Team Lead, you will serve as a key link between management and frontline employees while actively participating in daily warehouse operations. You will help coordinate workflow, train team members, monitor attendance, and support a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

- Lead daily warehouse operations by delegating tasks, training new hires, setting team priorities, and acting as a liaison between frontline employees and management.
- Maintain high levels of inventory and location accuracy by following standard warehouse procedures and reporting discrepancies.
- Accurately complete warehouse documentation, including pick sheets, manifests,



and unloading records.
- Execute core warehouse functions including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, loading, and unloading customer products.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and related material handling equipment.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GxP, ISO, safety, security, quality, and housekeeping standards while promoting accident and incident prevention.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, initiative, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., perform repetitive physical tasks, work flexible shifts and overtime, and support fast-paced operational requirements. Knowledge of quality systems such as GxP, ISO, Lean, TPS, and Six Sigma is an asset.

What we would like you to bring

- High School, High School Equivalent or Technical degree.
- 1 year experience in a lead or supervisory role.
- 2+ years of direct experience with distribution centre processes (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, value added processing and sub-assembly, wave desk)
- 2+ years' experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE)

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.




- Ability to work overtime and flexible shifts based on business needs.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles.
