We are currently looking for experienced Concrete Finishers to work seasonally in a full-time capacity, in various locations throughout Edmonton.

Successful candidates must be able to align with the company's core values: Commitment, Attitude and Respect.

Responsibilities:
Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials
Direct placement of concrete into forms or surfaces
Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
Perform all tasks with safety consciousness
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of concrete finishing or Form Setting experience required
Prior experience in the construction industry
Prior experience in operating power vibrators to compact concrete is an asset
Ability to work continuously for prolonged periods of time under pressure




Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
Must have a reliable vehicle to commute to different sites across Edmonton
High attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to follow directions
Ability to work in varying weather conditions
Ability to work in a team setting and independently with little supervision
Flexibility and adaptability are assets
Willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends.

Additional Information:
This is a seasonal position and starts in spring of every year
This position is eligible for over-time
Some travel outside of Edmonton may be required
Training will be provided for various activities
We offer excellent wages and benefit eligibility after 3 months in which you may continue your perks during the winter months (off season).
Potential on call work during the winter months during snow removal and early spring sweeping season.
