Our projects are varied, our renovations can be complex, and you'll have the opportunity to work across different stages of residential construction.Depending on your experience and skill level, you'll work alongside our Site Supervisors, Lead Hands, other Carpenters and apprentices and our trade partners on projects that may include:Residential structural framing of floors, walls, ceilings and roofsReading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and building plansMeasuring, cutting and assembling wood framing and engineered products such as LVLs, trusses and joistsDemolition and preparation for renovation constructionInstalling windows, doors, stairs, hardware and other structural componentsConcrete work, including building forms, mixing and pouringSetting up and working from ladders and scaffoldingWorking alongside sub-trades to keep projects moving smoothlyMaintaining a clean,



organized and safe jobsiteCompleting daily hazard assessments and participating in weekly toolbox meetingsMaintaining tools and equipment in good working orderRecording daily work and project updates using BuildertrendFollowing Ackard's safety procedures, building codes and regulationsWhat You BringWe're open to different levels of carpentry experience, but residential framing experience is important for this position.
