Salary: $36.92 per hour (full-time / 40 hours per week)Work Location: Various locations across OntarioJob DescriptionHandling and installation of synthetic turf systems manufactured with polyethylene fibre technology and reinforced rubberized backing.Interpret project drawings, site plans, specifications, and grading elevations to determine installation requirements, material quantities, and layout dimensions.Perform site measurements and establish installation layouts in accordance with approved design plans and project specifications.Excavate, grade, and prepare sub-base systems while ensuring proper elevations, drainage performance, slope tolerances, and compaction standards.Install synthetic turf systems by accurately positioning, measuring, cutting, trimming, and fitting turf materials to complex landscape contours and site conditions.Operate specialized construction equipment and tools including compactors, plate tampers, turf cutters, power brooms, and grading equipment.Construct and prepare aggregate base systems by spreading, screeding, leveling, and mechanically compacting crushed stone and granular materials to specified densities.Execute turf seaming procedures utilizing industry-approved adhesives, seam tape systems, mechanical fasteners, and perimeter anchoring methods.Apply and distribute infill materials, including silica sand and performance rubber infills, using mechanical spreading and power-brushing equipment to achieve specified pile height, stability,



and drainage performance.Conduct quality control inspections to verify seam integrity, surface consistency, drainage functionality, grade compliance, and overall installation standards.Install, maintain, and remove temporary site protection measures, barricades, forms, and safety controls in accordance with construction site requirements.Remove and dispose of excavation spoil, construction debris, and waste materials utilizing hand tools, wheelbarrows, and material-handling equipment while maintaining site cleanliness and safety.Assist with site restoration, final detailing, and project closeout activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and client expectations.Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations, equipment operating procedures, and company installation standards.Perform additional construction, landscaping, and site development activities as required to support project completion.Job Requirements1-2 years of experience in landscaping, hardscapingWeight Handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)Work Site Environment: OutdoorsPersonal Suitability: Flexibility, Reliability, Team playerWork Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Rapid-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, Manual dexterityOwn Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety bootsCompany: AGL Grass Inc., 4-1040 South Service Road,Stoney Creek, ON, L8E 6G3
