This is an in-office position, 5 days per weekThe office is in Mississauga, very close to the airportDesired Skills & Experience:Experience with XML and JSON filesEditors such as Visual Studio Code, Altova or SublimeJiraRegression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usabilityWorking knowledge of various testing methodologies and toolsContinuous improvement mindset demonstrable through projects etc.Job Description:Documenting software defects, using a Jira bug tracking system, and reporting defects to software developersIdentifying, analyzing, and documenting problems with program function, output, online screen, or contentPerforming initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown sourceCreating and or improving test plans that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing,



negative testing, error or bug retests, or usabilityDocumenting test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standardsPlanning test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery datesConducting software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environmentsTesting system modifications to prepare for implementationReviewing software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risksInvestigating customer problems referred by technical supportConducting historical analyses of test resultsBase salary - $70,000 - $75,000+Bonus
