The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (AWS ProServe) team is seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) based in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you'll manage a team of ProServe Delivery Consultants while supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects. You'll leverage your IT and/or Management Consulting background to serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.As a DPM you will be responsible for building and managing a team of Delivery Consultants and/or Engagement Managers working with customers and partners to architect and implement innovative solutions. You'll routinely engage with Director, C-level executives, and governing boards, whilst being responsible for opportunity capture and driving engagement delivery. ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery of customer engagementsDriving business development initiatives and exceeding customer satisfaction targetsScoping technical requirements for engagements and authoring proposals and SOWsHolding the Practice total utilization goal and optimizing team performanceBasic Qualifications10+ years of IT consulting/management with IT Transformation in customer-facing roles3+ years of direct people management leading a team of consultantsExperience with customer relationship management, especially C-suite level engagementExperience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies5+ years of experience with public sector contracting procedures, standards and specificationsCurrently holds or is eligible to obtain a Canadian Federal Government Level II (SECRET) Security ClearancePreferred QualificationsExperience with design of modern, scalable delivery models for technology consulting servicesExperience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies (e.G., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP)AWS Associate level certification or AWS Certified Cloud PractitionerCompensation & BenefitsBase salary range: $141,900 – $236,900 CAD annually. Total compensation may include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
