and workforce needs in order to influence decisions and propose high-value HR solutionsProvide strategic and hands-on HR support to Operations managers and employees across the full spectrum of HR matters, and advise and coach managers on performance, employee engagement, development, compensation, work organization, and change managementSupport managers in handling complex and sensitive situations, ensuring a consistent, fair, and compliant approach in accordance with company policies and legal requirementsAdvise leaders during structural changes, role evolutions, and organizational transformations, and support their implementation within teams.Labour Relations and Employee RelationsAct as the lead labour relations advisor for the unionized Operations groups and maintain a constructive, professional, and effective relationship with union representativesAdvise managers on the interpretation and application of the collective agreement, internal policies, and applicable legislation, and develop their capability to effectively manage within a unionized environmentEnsure rigorous management of labour relations matters, including disciplinary and administrative measures, absenteeism, disability cases, investigations, complaints, grievances, labour disputes, and other complex situationsParticipate in meetings with union representatives, prepare and manage grievance files and their resolution, and proactively identify trends and risks in order to foster constructive labour relations and prevent issuesActively participate in the preparation and negotiation of collective agreements, including issue analysis, mandate preparation, impact assessment, and the development of negotiation strategies.Workforce Planning and Talent ManagementParticipate in strategic and operational workforce planning in order to anticipate staffing, competency, and succession needs, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition for professional, administrative, and management positions within OperationsSupport managers in performance management processes, talent reviews, succession planning, and competency development by identifying individual and collective needs and recommending solutions aligned with operational prioritiesDesign and deliver, when required, training programs, tools, and development initiatives aimed at strengthening managers' capabilities,



particularly in leadership, performance management, labour relations, and management practices.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related disciplineMinimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including significant experience as an HR Business Partner in an operational environmentStrong labour relations experience in a unionized environment, ideally within a manufacturing, production, distribution, or operations settingExperience in collective agreement negotiations or renewals considered a significant assetGood knowledge of employment laws and labour standards applicable in QuebecDemonstrated ability to build credible relationships with operational managers and influence decisions while maintaining a pragmatic and solutions-oriented approachAbility to effectively navigate between strategic issues and the day-to-day operational realities of the businessExcellent coaching, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsManagerial courage, sound business judgment, professional maturity, and the ability to take a position in complex, sensitive, or conflict situationsStrong analytical skills and the ability to effectively leverage HR data to support decision-makingExcellent command of French and good command of EnglishProficiency with the MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Dayforce experience is considered an assetMembership in the Ordre of Chartered Human Resources Professionals of Quebec (CRHA) is considered a strong asset.AND IF YOU ARERecognized for your professional maturity, credibility, and ability to quickly build trusting relationshipsAn influential leader who is autonomous and proactive, capable of acting as a trusted advisor to managers in an operational and unionized environmentPossessing excellent judgment, strong analytical skills, and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approachCollaborative and recognized for your ability to work in partnership within a dynamic and demanding environment.The task and responsibilities listed above are summaries and indicatives.DIVERSITY AND INCLUSIONGroupe Marcelle wants to offer equal employment opportunities to all.
