Moreover, you will collaborate with the larger Environment team, supporting the monitoring of wildlife, surface and ground water, and updating information in our Geographic Information System (GIS) platforms. and wildlife data using field and electronic data collection methodsSupport reclamation activities, including monitoring soil salvage and placement, revegetation, and site conditionsConduct field surveys (e.G., disturbance mapping, pre-salvage assessments, wetland monitoring) and interpret resultsConduct environmental inspectionsAssist with weed monitoring and control to support site reclamation effortsCompile and organize environmental data for regulatory reporting, applications, and internal trackingUse tools such as ArcGIS (Field Maps, Survey123) to collect, manage, and analyze field data while maintaining a strong focus on safetyWhat You Bring To The RoleCurrently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year undergraduate or master's program in Land Reclamation, Forestry, Environmental, Biology, or Natural ScienceValid Class 5 driver's license with clean drivers abstractPhysically able to handle the rigors of outdoor field work with long daysPrevious experience in completing reclamation field work is considered an assetPrevious ATV and/or watercraft experience is considered an assetExperience using ArcGIS collectors is considered an assetPrevious reclamation or oil sands experience is considered an assetWhat We OfferCompetitive salaryQuality camp facilities with multiple amenities availableCompany Sponsored Fly-In/Fly-Out from Calgary or Edmonton,
