Position: Senior Guidewire Business Systems Analyst
Duration: 6 month assignment (contract with possible extension)

About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking the services of an experienced Guidewire Business Systems Analyst.
Job Details:
In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, with a strong focus on Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter Cloud implementations. You will play a key role in bridging business needs and technical delivery, ensuring alignment, clarity, and successful outcomes.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product owners, developers, QA, and stakeholders) to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discussions to elicit and refine business and system requirements
• Produce high-quality documentation such as business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and user stories
• Support Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter Cloud implementations, enhancements, and integrations
• Manage and track timelines, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring alignment with project goals
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure explicit communication and shared understanding
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
• Support testing activities, including UAT coordination,
defect management, and validation of delivered functionality
• Continuously identify process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
• Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter Cloud Certification
• Proven experience working on Guidewire implementations or enhancements
• Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and distributed teams
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications
• Experience in the insurance domain, particularly with policy management systems
• Familiarity with rating engines and pricing systems
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, or similar frameworks)
