We are currently looking for a Journeyperson Sheet Metal Worker to be an integral part of our Service / Small Projects Division.This is a role that will be engaging and dynamic as no two days will be the same.Black & McDonald is part of the Sheet Metal Union, Local 296.We offer top wages in the industry.Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Read engineering and architectural drawings, sketches and work specifications to be performed, and lay out, measure and mark sheet metal according to drawings or templateDevelop patterns for sheet metal using computer-assisted design and drafting (CAD) software packageOperate light metalworking machines such as shears, brakes, punches, and drill presses, including computer numerical control (CNC) equipment to cut, bend, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metalOperate computerized laser or plasma cutting equipment to cut sheet metalInstall and use rigging and hoisting equipmentFit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, welding, soldering and similar equipment to fabricate products such as ventilation shafts, exhaust hoods, eavestroughs, partition frames, air and heat ducts, material handling systems, roof decking and sheet metal buildingsInstall sheet metal products according to specifications and building codesGrind and buff seams,
