The ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving, communication, and technical skills.ResponsibilitiesManaging and directing resources to tackle technical issues that arise during the shift that results in meeting safety, quality and delivery targetsFostering a working environment that is fair, equitable and driven to continuous improvementsSetting, starting up and troubleshooting moulding machines for production runsProviding support to the Shift SupervisorFollowing and complying with Cube Management System (CMS)DutiesSet up and start up injection moulding machinesComplete mould and insert changesFollow-up, trouble‐shoot and adjust processes for any quality issues, including flash, long gates, warping, blooming, witness marks, cloudiness,



etc.Identify and communicate mould/machine problems to Shift Supervisor and Maintenance TechniciansMaintenance and storage of moulds and inserts (tooling)Assist Shift Supervisors as required – training of current staff, incident investigations and audits to determine root causes and corrective actionsCommunicate with previous and next shift to understand any technical or quality issuesPosition RequirementsHigh School GraduateVocational school an asset5 years minimum of technical experience in injection mouldingWorking knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulicsBasic tooling background an assetDemonstrated ability to solve problems and produce resultsCommunicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writingCrane, and forklift certification requiredOther Job RequirementsMust be able to speak, read and write EnglishMust have reliable transportationMust have full range of motionMust be able to sit, stand/walk for long periods of timeMust be able to bend, twist and lift up to 30lbsAble to work 12 hour rotating continental shiftsBenefitsExtended dental, health and vision coverage upon completion of 3 month probationary periodRRSP program eligible to participate after 3-month probationary periodQuarterly bonus eligible to participate after 3-month probationary periodFree in office parking
