The ideal candidate will be organized, trustworthy, professional,



and able to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the schoolProcess accounts payable and accounts receivablePrepare and issue invoices and receiptsRecord and reconcile financial transactionsReconcile bank and credit card statementsProcess deposits and paymentsMaintain accurate records of tuition, fees, and other school-related accountsPrepare payroll information and assist with payroll processingTrack school expenses and assist with budget monitoringPrepare financial reports and summaries as requiredMaintain organized financial files and documentationAssist with year-end financial procedures and preparation of information for the school's accountantEnsure financial records are maintained in accordance with school procedures and applicable requirementsCommunicate professionally with staff, parents, suppliers, and other stakeholders regarding financial mattersMaintain strict confidentiality regarding all financial and personal informationPerform other bookkeeping and administrative duties as requiredQualifications and SkillsPrevious bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a school or similar organizationStrong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and proceduresProficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExcellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh level of integrity, discretion, and confidentialityExperience with payroll and/or school accounting systems would be an assetKnowledge of the Catholic school setting is an assetOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
