Empower young minds as an Early Childhood Educator at YMCA BCs Child Care Centers. This full-time position offers dynamic opportunities to engage children and support their development.

In this role, you will serve as a key member of the YMCA educational team at various locations including Water View and Woodwards. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will create a safe and engaging environment, promoting growth through structured, age-appropriate programs. You’ll work closely with families and colleagues to foster supportive relationships within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engaging programming and quality care to children
• Foster meaningful relationships with children and families
• Collaborate to ensure a safe working workplace




• Lead transitions between different play areas smoothly
• Uphold cleanliness and safety in all program spaces

Requirements:
• ECE certification from a recognized program in BC
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• CPR-C, AED, and Emergency First Aid certification required
• Required to provide 3 references
• Current Criminal Record check with Vulnerable sector search
