You will engage with staff and CSA members, assisting in the overall standards development processes, analyzing critical data, facilitating meetings, and learning different standard operations. You will also provide support to other Membership functions, including member programs, committee services, and standards events.The target start date for this role is September 2026 for a term of 12 months. Please submit a cover letter with your application and please confirm that you are able to work for the duration of 1‑year starting in September, that you can commute to the Toronto (178 Rexdale Blvd) office 3 days a week, and that you are currently enrolled in school and WILL be returning after the co‑op ends.ResponsibilitiesConducting analysis on systems and process data to support standards operationsAssisting in process improvement and change management initiatives, including reviewing and assessing data, updating documents, facilitating internal meetings, and supporting staff trainingAssisting as needed with other standards project and program activities, including conducting research and problem‑solving issuesSupport member programs, services and events with other administrative tasks associated with member meetings, committee weeks,



or standards conferencesInterfaces/coordinates activities with broader membership and standards development teamsEducation and ExperienceCompletion of second year or higher in an undergraduate programKnowledge of process improvement, change management, and project management would be an assetWorking knowledge of standards development and business processes is an assetExperience working with volunteers and/or multi‑stakeholder groups would be an assetSkillsExcellent people skills: managing relationships, facilitating and networking with people at all levels with divergent interests and backgroundsHighly developed oral and written communication skillsExcellent project management, organizational and planning skills. Detail and process orientationHigh degree of self‑motivation, initiative, resilience, and adaptabilityDemonstrated ability to be a team playerStrong computer skills (word processing, presentation software, project planning software, spreadsheets, etc.)Candidates with proficiency in French will be given special considerationThe typical hiring range for this position is $24.60–$31.48 CAD per hour.
