Using your exercise therapy skills, you will achieve outstanding clinical outcomes and client engagement with the people that you treat while helping your clients to return to work and everyday activities at all stages of rehabilitation.Wage range:$20.51-$24Take an inside look at what you'll do each dayTreat MVA, LTD, WSIB and private patients in a gym settingWork under the direction of the Physiotherapist and/or Occupational Therapist in matters regarding treatment,



progression of treatment and management of the clientDesign and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needsComplete employer assessments such as Physical Demands Analysis (PDA), Post Offer Employment Testing (POET) and Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE) to confirm job capability of essential job demandsPrepare progress and discharge reports delegated by the treating clinicianAssist the treating clinician with return to work planningEnsure the gym area is presentable, organized and free of obvious safety hazardsWhat you need to be successfulA degree in Kinesiology or Human KineticsRegistration in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of OntarioExcellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work independentlyThe ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary teamExcellent oral and written communication skillsThe desire to work hard to improve your skillsEmpathy with an effective ability to build rapport with patientsProficiency with Microsoft Word and ExcelThe ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and to facilitate our clients' needs by exceeding their goalsExperience in interdisciplinary care considered an assetExperience with chronic pain, concussion management and chronic conditions considered an assetWhat CBI Health offers youContinuous learning and skills development,
