Subject to change due to operational requirements.Start Date: As soon as possibleSalary: As per collective agreementLanguage Requirement: Written and spoken competency in English and French.Duties and ResponsibilitiesClinical expectations and responsibilities for Primary Care Paramedics are based on the current National Occupational Competency Profile (NOCP) and registration requirements, as well as Ambulance NB policies, procedures and protocols.Our paramedics provide medical support to patients on scene and en route to hospitals, employing emergency techniques and medical treatments applicable to unpredictable clinical presentations.Selected candidates will undergo a standardized selection process that includes a comprehensive assessment to determine qualification level.Required QualificationsEntitled to work in Canada (Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status or work permit).Demonstrate efficient teamwork, ability to work all shifts as assigned, positive attendance record.High regard for confidentiality and patient safety.Primary Care Paramedic program/course of over six months. If not completed, interest in program with list of Atlantic Canada paramedic programs available on the website.Registered, active Paramedic with the Paramedic Association of New Brunswick.
