What ties it all together are the friendly faces you'll find along the way, the thoughtful amenities, and the delightful details that make every visit feel personal and unforgettable.ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESSupervises the cleanliness, maintenance and the general appearance of guest rooms and public areas as well as other areas designated (front/back) of the house.Sees that all Housekeeping personnel are carrying out the duties assigned to them, as per standards of the companyClose co-ordination between Front Office, Engineering, Food and Beverage as well as the Guest Relation regarding regular and especially irregular guest requestsTraining and maintaining standards of quality and service and productivity of the Housekeeping DepartmentAccurate scheduling of periodical cleaning plans, etc.Constant awareness of recent cleaning machinery, cleaning chemicals and cleaning procedures arising on the marketSupervises compliance of company policies and exercises performance management as neededConducts guest room and public space inspectionsAssists the Executive Housekeeper with requests and purchases of all supplies related to Housekeeping and Laundry as well as the linen and uniformsMaintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, amenities, uniforms and linenSupervises and controls Lost and Found, maintains records and liaises with FD to return packages to clientsPromotes teamwork within the department as well as a sense of fairnessEnsure that all staff in the Housekeeping department know and understand safety procedures and effective reporting is maintainedEnsures all staff has a safe environment within which to work and ensures all staff adopts safe working habitsMonitors work performed by outside contractors and recommends scheduling (e.G. window cleaning, laundry contractors, room cleaning,
