The incumbent is responsible for communicating and working in a collaborative manner with the program area instructors and direct supervisor to ensure the School of Trades and Technologies continues to provide quality, timely, and reliable support for student success.Specific DutiesPerform toolroom duties on a daily basis providing tools, equipment, supplies, personal protective equipment ( PPE ) and other items.Identify and recommend purchases of tools and supplies.Perform shop inspections at the beginning and end of each day to identify and rectify issues in order to maintain a protected working area in accordance with WorkSafeBC requirements.Keep shops and related facilities in clean, professional and ready-for-use condition.Initiate work order requests to Facilities as required.Monitor WHMIS compliance within the work area including keeping an inventory of controlled products, maintaining the MSDS binder,
