What is the opportunity?The RBC Dominion Securities ("RBC DS") branch located in Uptown Waterloo is looking for an experienced Associate Investment Advisor or Associate Advisor to join a Premier advisory team by providing exceptional client service as well as investment, wealth management and administrative support. Candidates must have at least 5-10 years of experience in the investment field.What will you do?Provide world class client service to our valued clientsEnhance the client relationship through executing the investment and wealth strategies of the IA as well as engaging financial planning and other wealth management resources of the team and RBC DS more broadlyEffective client communications (written and verbal), by phone, e-mail, and in-personUtilize contact management system for daily task managementInvestment research, analysis and analyticsBack up on trade executionSupport the IA by identifying and assisting growth of new business opportunitiesAssist in the development of the team's investment strategy for clientsEvent planningWhat do you need to succeed?Must-haveAt least 5 years of experience in the investment fieldCIRO licensed as a Registered Representative (RR) (Canadian Securities Course/CSC, Conduct and Practices Handbook/CPH, Wealth Management Essentials/WME) or equivalent CIRO licensing courses (Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE), Retail Securities Exam (RSE), conduct training and regulatory training requirements)Exceptional verbal and written English skills - excellent communicator over the telephoneBachelor's degree from an accredited post secondary institutionAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to successfully multi-task and change priorities mid-stream, as requiredAdvanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Legally able to work in CanadaRole requires work from officeNice to haveFinance, economics or business degreeOther professional of investment industry designations (such as CFP,
