Working with CHN means being part of a team that values collaboration, cultural knowledge, and meaningful contributions to the well-being of the Haida.About the RoleThe Citizenship Program Manager oversees the Citizenship program and processes related to citizenship. They work with Ḵuljaad G̱aa.Nga Citizenship Table, Hereditary Chiefs and Haida Citizens to develop the Citizenship program for the Nation. They plan, schedule, attend meetings, draft clan trees, register citizens, and respond on citizenship matters. The citizenship program will be responsible for conducting and maintaining data of a Haida census. They ensure the maintenance of all clan tree files and digital records and the approved application of the Citizenship Act, the Constitution of the Haida Nation, and other applicable laws and procedures are applied correctly.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDuties include, but are not limited to, the following:Supervise staff and work collaboratively with Committees and staff to plan and execute a Haida Citizen registry.Develop and implement a process for tracking, updating and registering citizens accurately to clan trees and citizenship databases.Assist with clan meetings in G̲aw Tlagee, HlG̲aagilda,
