FedEx Canada is hiring a Courier-3 based out of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. This is a full-time, regular position requiring an interview.The primary purpose of this role is to provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route, to check all shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service, and to provide related customer service functions.ResponsibilitiesPick up and deliver packages courteously and efficiently along an assigned routeVerify shipments to confirm they conform to Federal Express Canada features of serviceProvide customer service functions directly in the fieldHandle packages weighing up to 70 lbs and manoeuvre items up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipmentMaintain compliance with Canadian Customs regulations and FedEx operational standardsManage time effectively to complete all deliveries and pick-ups within scheduleAdapt to flexible scheduling, including varying shifts and holidays as requiredRequired Knowledge,



Skills and AbilitiesHigh school diploma or educational equivalentMust possess a valid driver's licence and have a good driving record (two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months)Ability to lift 70 lbs and to manoeuvre any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipmentOne (1) year customer-oriented business experience preferredMust achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment trainingSome knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an assetGood interpersonal and communication skillsGood time management and organizational skillsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environmentWillingness to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays based on business needsHigh school diploma or educational equivalent; valid driver's licence with positive driving record; ability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre up to 150 lbs with equipment; one year customer-oriented experience preferred; must pass pre-placementdriver assessment.
